Shipping machinery is hard, that's why we leave it to the pros. Even then, we do have to take extra precautions. Most single pieces of downstream equipment can ship in a crate via LTL. AMS will provide you with competitive quotes or you can simply arrange your own truck. 

Crating fees are typically $350 per machine.  

Rigging on larger equipment is included and is an added value when purchasing from AMS. We have a lot of experience loading and unloading large extruders, so we know how to do this safely. We recommend all flatbed loads are tarped and we will assist the trucking companies to properly rig the equipment. 

In all instances, in the event there is damage to machinery during transit, it is the Customer's responsibility to reject the shipment or identify the damage prior to accepting the delivery. Proper documentation is important to ensure the necessary repairs can quickly be made.
